I hope you’re having a wonderful day. Firstly, you seem to miss the 15 mentions I made where they didn’t even acknowledge or notice a birth was going on.
And regarding the Lokia incident involving the storyline with the baby? He actually involved and fully acknowledged the storyline that was taking place during such. And the child was also never harmed in any way during the roleplay.
In other words; Lokia acknowledged the storyline. The people above in this log did not. See the difference?
As far as Gor, there was no mention that any cruelty came to pregnancies or birth. In fact, there was the exact opposite. Not to get into a book dispute, but I’m curious what Gorean book you read where there were any mentions that combat takes precedence over a birth taking place? Physicians were never harmed during combat, as was their medical jurisdiction; in this case it was child birth.

Sure it’s not exactly “canon” to do that, but we are GE and it isn’t exactly “canon” to have green’s fighting either. Admittedly I’m a terrible fighter so it barely counts, but I figured if green’s were subject to all the horrors that fighters were, then green’s had the right to fight just as fighters did. Being a green certainly doesn’t give me any protection.
However…
While a green’s work doesn’t take priority over a raid, rp should still take priority over pewpew. I agree that in Lokia’s case he actually involved into the rp. To just pewpew is.. well.. it happens, but none of us are going to go “yay! pewpew uber all!”. RP is still the point, to those who haven’t lost their minds.
